So excited! I will be attending my first tech conference and as a speaker. In this talk, I will delve into the intriguing connections between DJing and programming. I'll share how my love for music and storytelling has influenced my approach to creative problem-solving in the tech industry, and provide practical tips and strategies for how others can integrate creativity and innovation into their own work.
With a particular focus on navigating the challenges of layoffs, I will provide actionable insights and advice for how to stay resilient and adaptable in a rapidly-changing industry. I went from not wanting to DJ to being laid off as a Software Engineer to opening for Grammy Award winning artist, Lil' Wayne. Drawing on my own experiences and personal anecdotes, as well as visually-stunning examples, this talk promises to be an engaging and inspiring exploration of the intersections between music, creativity, and technology.
