A BIG Humpty...What You Put In Is What You Get Out.
This is really hard. I’m writing because I’m back at that point again yet, I’m not. A new dear friend to me shared her story about a similar situation that really touched me. So thankful for those words. It makes so much of a difference to have positive people around you. Not even neutral (the ones that don’t say anything or reply with your thoughts with Oh.)
Speaking of which Oh is the worst feedback EVER…besides NO.
Back to it though. I’m noticing so much during this contest, like who’s really for you, who’s really not and not just on the level of on your side. But just simple things of not being selfish and calling you to talk about themselves and hang up. Either way my main goal besides becoming the new host of 106 & Park, I just want to be a better listener (and not be selfish). I know listening to what people want to see and hear and know will help me and the world.
Overall, Fashion’s Night Out was great and inspiring. It really opened my eyes.
I Won’t Give Up.
…Just My Thoughts.
