Jay-Z Is Not Even Seeing Malcolm X.

I’m really supposed to be doing something else right now. But today I finished the autobiography of Malcolm X, co-written by Alex Haley. Let me just say the movie has nothing on the book. But the movie did a great job of making that into a three hour movie.

I have to say that is the BEST BOOK I have ever read and I do read a great deal. Now I’m ready for another book. I purchased:

  • The Diary of Anne Frank
  • The Life of Helen Keller
  • Ghandi {The Autobiography}

But it’s going to be a hard act to follow on that Malcolm X book. I even cried like I didn’t know he was going to die in the end. I did realize I had my Chelsea Handler book, Dear Vodka or something like that. Then I begin to think let’s not do the struggle story again just yet…laugh a little bit.

So now I’m reading that. So far it’s alright, I think Sarah Silverman’s, Bedwetter was beyond funny though.

Back to Malcolm X…now that I’m finished with the book, I feel like I got to know someone new and brave…not just Malcolm X but myself. Talk about BAWLS…in my case…LADY BAWLS!

He had such a fearless attitude that I want and I’m going after it. Thank you God & Malcolm X.
