While in ATL for the A3C festival I was invited to Stankonia Studios to work with the SMKA fam and Royal Flush on project they were putting together with GrooveShark called “Stankonia Session”. After going threw a few beats with Jeron (Of Royal Flush), Rick (Of Royal Flush) suggest this record and after hearing it I decided this was the one to go in on. I layed the verse and finished the hook right as the big homie Rapper Big Pooh arrived at the lab and decided to jump on it as well. It was dope to find out after the fact that one of my favorite emcees, Freeway, a cat I grew up listening to decided to jump on the record. A month later now you have “The Journey”.
