Rating: OMG…I should have got two sandwiches.

I’ve been keeping up with festivals this summer, especially music, but I wasn’t able to attend the Memphis In May BBQ tasting so I was peeved. But then I ran into the Big Apple BBQ and immediately kept tabs on. Then told my friends this is one event that we cannot miss; rain, sleet, hail and snow can’t stop it. And go figure, it pours but guess what…we were still there.

On a rainy Saturday, Megan, Jason, MDotz, Lilian, KIM and I decided to conquer the BBQ…in the rain.

We were served bbq sandwiches and pork and beans. We went right over to Dinosaur BBQ, not because we were already familiar but because it had the shortest line at the time and we were all starving. I don’t think I’ve ever had that much fun in the rain.

It did mess up the whole plan of the water gun fight but hopefully we’ll have one before Meg returns to Ireland. Oh and the food PHUKIN GREAT!

Then we went to Dinosaur BBQ in Harlem afterwards. Lilian and MDotz first time in Harlem:)
