Pansies x Prostitutes & Grandpa Looking Aunties.
Taking it back to the essence of people. Being in surgical solitary confinement for three months I’m sure is no comparison to jail. But shyt it feels like it living in the country and even my Grandpa was sending me books that my mama read it jail. I felt like I was in a Lifetime movie. I read Assata Shakur, Malcolm X, Laughing in the Dark, Fredrick Douglas and a bunch of positive books. Then my documentary game has stepped up even Lil’ B’s manager sent me some things he’s been working on (S/O to Ethan) [look for reviews in the print edition of CultureShockMag] but yoo what a journey.
To some it may be like man, that’s nothing…but I’m not you and you aren’t me [Put that in your peace pipe and smoke it]
But I realized I genuinely love people, especially people not like me and people that are because in the end we’re all so very similar.
Looking forward to seeing blah again even though I hate to admit it.
