What I Learned on 1st 48 Besides Solving Homicides & Using Finger Print Analysis

I’ve been watching 1st 48 since its humble beginnings and this past week that introduced a new wave to the show, 1st 48 Missing. I ended up watching the show until the wee hours of the morning Thursday. After that I logged on to NetFlix (shout out to Lessie) and created my own marathon of episodes. Some of them I do remember.

But here’s the cake taker…what I found most interesting and something that we can all apply to life is the the willingness to NEVER GIVE UP, no matter what. I imagined what if those hardworking homicide detectives gave up each time they felt the pieces to the puzzles weren’t getting any clearer. Just think about that for a minute. If they gave up when they got stuck for a moment or got frustrated, imagine how many murderers would be on the street! That would be scary.

So I’ll practice what I preach this week and on and on and remind you and myself, that when it seems tough, don’t give up because even if something doesn’t seem so positive today, it will sooner than later, just have faith.
